Really great museum, definitely worth the trip. Not that easy to get there since there are few regular buses from Nomineagari station area. I liked to see the wall with cards of every home run (507).
Ok
So touched!
On a calm day at the end of the year, I revisited the place for the first time in over ten years.
Last time, he was very active with the Yankees during his playing days, so I wasn't able to get a good look at the hugely popular exhibits in the hall, but this time, maybe because it's been about 10 years since he retired, or maybe it was just a coincidence, there were about 10 people there. did.
I've been there a total of five times, including the previous "Baseball House", and each time I'm drawn to Mr. Matsui's humanity.
His motto: ``Hard work is talent.'' His great achievements are the results of his efforts to live up to these words, and are summarized in this baseball museum. Mr. Matsui's approach to baseball from his childhood to the end of his playing days has been around for half a century. He is a living example for me to follow.
I'm also very grateful that I can enjoy such a spectacular facility for just 400 yen. The shop owner was a very gentle and beautiful person. I wanted to talk to you, and if I have another chance, I will do so.
If you're a Matsui fan, a Giants fan, or even a professional baseball fan, we recommend you visit this place at least once. I was finally able to go. It was a very meaningful time as it was almost reserved. I felt a deep bond with Mr. Matsui, his family, Coach Nagashima, and Jeter. I was very inspired by Mr. Matsui's personality! I came here from Shizuoka and asked the woman at the reception about various things, but I was disappointed by the lackadaisical response.
The building has a beautiful Western-style exterior.
When you actually see the large number of trophies and certificates, you can feel how amazing Mr. Matsui is.
There are some inspiring quotes, so I think even people who aren't baseball fans can enjoy the exhibit.
When I happened to go outside, I saw fighter planes flying, which made me enjoy it twice.
The exterior looks like a Greek temple, but it is actually a memorial hall for former major leaguer Hideki Matsui. When you enter the building, you will be greeted by a life-sized version of Matsui. The exhibits include items related to his early life, Seiryo High School, the Giants, the major leagues, and the People's Honor Award. You can also touch the bat, gloves, and spikes that were used. The size of my feet is insanely large. There is also a goods sales corner, and there are plenty of souvenirs as well. Personally, I'm a fan of a Kansai baseball team, so I couldn't deny that it was a little pagan and embarrassing, but I was able to enjoy it as a baseball fan. I think it's a sacred place for Giants fans. You can enter until 10 minutes before closing. Free parking available.
This is a must-visit place not only for Hideki Matsui fans but also for baseball lovers. I was a fan of Yoshinobu Takahashi when I was a child, and I still remember being excited by Hideki Matsui's success with the Giants and his success in the major leagues. Nowadays, challenging for a major has become commonplace, but back then there were still many difficulties, and I'm sure that Hideki Matsui, who played an active role while hitting home runs, gave me courage. I was really happy to be able to follow that trajectory here. It's a wonderful show that skillfully displays both the glamorous parts and the hard work behind the scenes, and makes us realize once again that people who have made a lasting impression in people's hearts are not only talented, but also continue to work tirelessly. I thought it was an exhibition.
